She is 7.5 months old.

Grace continues to be a joy to work with. Her enthusiasm and willingness to work seem endless. She is very talented, and loves to do anything with me.
I recently got a remote shutter release for my camera. I am really enjoying it!

Sorry for the slight blur. This is heel position. *grin*

I have been scouting about for a new camera, and I came on a super deal. Yesterday I bought a Nikon D40 DSLR camera. We are still getting to know each other, but I just know I am going to love her. It is a beautiful camera.

Here are a few shots I got with it today. It’s definitely a pretty steep learning curve for me! Gracie is 7 months old.

Diving for the toy
Grace and I visited the pond again yesterday, along with Penny. Grace went off the end of the dock! Unfortunately I did not get a photo of it. She swam confidently and vigorously. She ran around the pond to the other side, and when I called her, she jumped in and swam all the way across. Her confidence level is building rapidly. She even just paddled around out in the water without worrying about getting to shore. I recommend a swim jacket for anyone who wants their dog to learn to enjoy swimming. It has really pushed Grace along very quickly with her confidence.
A few photos from the day.
