When a door closes, somewhere else a window opens. I am happy to announce that I am leasing Windrift River Dance from my dear friend Cathy Rubens. She will be visiting CH Redyre Choice v Eternal Moon (Shaka X Penny) in the next 10 days or so.

I follow quite a few dog related websites and blogs out there pretty much on a daily basis. I love web building. Altho I am not a pro at it, I enjoy looking and learning and gaining ideas from other websites, and also looking at photos of lovely dogs.

Today, after yesterday’s reading, I am compelled to write on the topic of revenge.  My favorite quote on the topic:

SUCCESS is the best revenge.

It is hard sometimes to rise above petty things in life. Tit for tat, or making people pay, seems to be a nearly inescapable part of the human experience. Those base emotions such a jealousy, envy, revenge, all not a very attractive part of the human psyche, but nearly everyone experiences these feelings from time to time. It is how we deal with and express them that tells the true difference between people.

If you spend so much time working on getting even with people, one may never get ahead!

Sometimes these emotions can poison a person, making them bitter and unable to enjoy some of the real pleasures in life.

We all know people like this. Most of the time I think these people are very sad inside, and have a deep wish to be accepted and appreciated, like all human beings do.

My wish for today is that people with poison in their hearts will be able to let go of this negativity and move on to more positive things in life.

I have been poignantly reminded with the death of my dear Father in law, that life is not forever. Time wasted today will never be retrieved.

I am going to go out today and make it a point to do some nice things for other people, just as I do most days. It is so nice to put a smile on someone’s face. It’s easy. Hold the door open for someone coming in or out. Take that shopping buggy for an older person and put it back. Smile and let someone get into line in traffic. It’s contagious to be nice, and you almost always get smiles in return.

Much better than plotting about how to make people pay.
