Puppies are 7 weeks tomorrow

The puppies are 7 weeks old tomorrow. We had our puppy day today. My good friend Cathy Rubens, of Silverhill Rottweilers, came to look at the puppies. Cathy is the owner of CH Silverhill’s Ice, who is the sire of the litter. She was nice enough to stack them, and I took the photos.

Thanksgiving

I hope that everyone has had occasion to be thankful for something today. I have so much to be thankful for it would be hard to name them all. Family comes at the top of the list, of course.

I had the opportunity to spend a wonderful pleasant day with my family. I am sure they won’t mind if I have a little fun at their expense with chance photographs.

Let’s start here, with a HAPPY THANKSGIVING MONTAGE.

Next we wonder about heritable traits. Is hands in pockets hereditary?

Here is the fruit tart I made. It was completely delicious. The fruit topping is self explanatory. Use whatever you like.

Use a graham gracker prepared pie crust.

In a medium mixing bowl, place a container of whipped cream cheese, 1/2 tsp lemon zest, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 3 tablespoons milk or cream, 1/3 c sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract. Mix well until smooth. Spread into pie shell. Top with fruit of your choice. Mmmmm!!

My favorite sister in law wanted to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving and Holiday season. Says, she can’t WAIT until Christmas. (insert laughing here)

Like most of the rest of you, I have family who is great, but with warts and rough spots. We all have the same. Thanks for helping me appreciate with humor the wonderful things about my family, and this time of year.

Warmest wishes to all for the best holiday season ever.
