The puppies are 6 weeks old today. Each is nearly identical in weight, at a few ounces under 9 lbs. They are happy playful inquisitive friendly puppies who love people.

Today my neice and 2 of her friends came to visit the puppies. We had a nice visit. Many of the photos also include Penny in the whelping box along with the puppies and the visiting kids. I can’t say enough about how beautiful the temperament is on this bitch. She makes me so proud!

Today Grace and Harley are 2 weeks old. Puppies are THRIVING! As of last evening, Grace )the “Princess Piggy”) was 2 lb 14 oz (almost 15 oz!) and Harley is doing well at 2 lbs 3 oz. Don’t look at this picture and think Harley is small, because he isn’t. His sister is a MONSTER!

They eat vigorously, have no trouble finding mom and latching on, and are trying hard to get up on their feet and walk. They are so quiet at night, I was up only ONCE with them last night to put a pup back with mom that had gotten behind her under the pig rail.

Penny is dripping with milk, and as always, a loving careful mother who keeps her puppies and box very clean.

I am anxiously awaiting the eyes to open. No sign of that this morning. As soon as they start I will update here with photos.
