Mean people suck, or why my cam is now password protected….

Some of you may recall the little chat transcript I posted some weeks back. It seems I have ruffled some feathers, no pun intended.

Although the poster who is stalking me usually goes by the handle of mcauley, they are now apparently posting under another user name, bergerpam.

This person has made the following postings on a bulletin board, directed at me:

I was watching you the other night when you could only find two heart beats instead of four with the doppler – possibly three of the puppies have already perished. In spite of how much I hate HSUS this is one time I think their expertise is needed in regards to doing an intervention should Penny need same. Your under observation RED

Thanks Red – but I don’t need to email you for a pass word – you can password protect on ustream but that is easily over ridden – like I said you never know who the mods or adms are on ustream – anyway – if I needed it I just have to email a very good friend of yours and will have it in a blink of an eye. You just never know who your close friends are that are actually your enemy or should I say competition, that are simply waiting in the wings for you to faulter. That way when you are brought to the ground you’ll never know what hit ya.

This person has repeatedly made comments on other forums insinuating that it will be payback for me if Penny dies in whelp, that I am irresponsible for breeding her, that she has produced puppies with severe elbow problems, etc., and accusing me of abusing my dog by breeding her.

So, for any of you other nice and sane folks who want to view my cam, email me for the PW. I don’t want this creep watching my cam any more.

Let’s Just Be Humans Training Dogs | Dog Star Daily

Dr. Ian Dunbar says:

Basing dog training on a misunderstanding of wolf behavior is as useful as basing human education on a misunderstanding of chimpanzee behavior.

Dogs are not wolves and dog behavior is not the same as wolf behavior. In fact, the most striking difference between dog and wolf behavior is their interaction with people.  Wolves have been naturally selected to grow up to be wary of people, whereas dogs have been artificially selected for their ease of socialization towards people. Consequently, it is hardly sound to use wolf behavior as a template for dog training.

We have at least 5 puppies!

I could not wait over the weekend, so I took Penny in this morning for her term exray. As usual I have been pretty accurate with the Doppler. It looks like 5 puppies. Could be one more in there somewhere, but 5 for sure. T minus 7 days and counting!
