11 month old male, large, good substance with very nice head type, dark eyes, dark mouth pigment, medium size correctly carried ears, moderate front and rear angulations, strong topline, correct markings, complete and correct scissors bite, correct movement with good reach and drive, holds topline firm when moving.

Today, at the Asheville Kennel Club dog show, Milton celebrated turning 10 months old by winning his first AKC Championship point. Milton swept the awards on Saturday, winning Winner's Dog, Best of Winners, and BEST OF BREED!!!
Brother Ruger (Redyre Weapon of Choice, HICs) wins another RWD award at Puyallup, WA this weekend. Ruger and Tracy will be bragging about their own CH points very soon!

RUGER (Redyre Weapon of Choice, HICs) is Reserve Winner's Dog and BEST PUPPY IN BREED at the AKC shows in Lynden, WA. Ruger is trained and handled by his owner Tracy Matty.

Happy nine months birthday to the Choice litter!!
Pictured below is Redyre Choice v Eternal Moon, "E.T." at nearly 9 months old. Like the rest of the Choice litter, E.T. is friendly, sociable, outgoing, smart, and beautiful!!

Penny has made the UKC Top 10 in Rottweilers for the second quarter of 2008! She is sitting at #5 right now. She made these rankings in only TWO shows.

PENNY and I will be one of the recipients of the American Rottweiler Club's Good Samaritan Award for her work in our community and as a working Therapy Dog in 2007.
The American Rottweiler Club's Good Samaritan Award includes a letter of recognition and a certificate, which is awarded to any person who, in the opinion of the ARC Board of Directors, has aided and/or promoted an individual Rottweiler or our breed in some outstanding way.
I am thrilled and HONORED to be one of the 2007 recipients of this award.

Iffie (Redyre Choice Of A Lifetime) is thinking about a career in interior design. I had to laugh at this photo. Iffie's "Mom", Sally, says she should consider a different major.

Mikey finished his UKC Championship title at the Carolina Classic on March 30th. Mike was Best Male over his brother Milton at all 5 shows.  At the 3rd show he was Best of Breed and Group 2 over his dam, Penny. He then went on Sunday to 2 more BOB awards, along with a Group second and finished the weekend by WINNING the Guardian group.
We are so proud of this outstanding young dog, and expect big things from him in the future!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEAN BEAN!!
Fenja is 11 years old today. With the health issues she has been having we are so grateful that we got to celebrate this milestone with her.

Today Redyre Choice v Eternal Moon ("E.T.") was Reserve Winner's Dog his first time out in the AKC Breed ring. E.T. was Bruce, the orange collar puppy. E.T. is owned by Penny's breeder, Linda Draper.
 Linda says he showed like a seasoned dog, and generated lots of interest among other exhibitors, including some handlers and those not in Rottweilers. Stay tuned for more accomplishments from this promising young dog.

RUGER (Redyre Weapon of Choice, HICs) earned his Herding Instinct Certificate today with style and loads of drive.
The following are the comments from the evaluator:
Nice dog. Strong minded. Went both directions well. Seems to be a more serious dog/worker. Nice/good interest in stock. Might be a harder dog for a beginner person.
Tracy is doing an outstanding job with this high drive young dog.

Redyre Choice of a Lifetime ("Iffie") has completed her first puppy obedience class, and earned her graduation certificate. Iffie's owners Sally and Milton Robison have been so dedicated to their puppy girl, and we are delighted with how they are bringing this adorable girl along.
